GIVE TO FFY THIS GIVING TUESDAY
This Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2020, your gift to Foundation for Youth is a simple act that will make a big difference for the kids in our community who are counting on us.
The simple things mean everything for kids who are struggling right now.
A healthy snack, a meal, help with school work, a friend to listen, an adult who will be there no matter what.
When so much feels complicated right now, your donation is an easy way to help kids through the challenges they are facing today, to ensure they have bright futures tomorrow.
A THANKSGIVING MESSAGE FROM CHUCK
I recently asked members of our Boys & Girls Club what they are thankful for this year. Despite the extraordinary challenges kids and their families have faced, their answers were full of hope:
"Hanging out with my friends and all the staff. Everybody here is real nice, real funny. It's a really great place to be."
"FFY makes me feel good because I feel like I'm cared for and safe."
"Seeing all of my friends and getting to go to the gym."
Before COVID-19, life was already difficult for many of our Club kids and their families, but as jobs were cut and schools closed, it became even harder. Because of you, FFY has been here to provide the seemingly simple things that mean everything to families in need - virtual programming, safe, affordable child care, quality programming with professionally certified staff, meals and snacks, emotional and practical support, a safe haven. Because you’ve been here for us, we’ve been here for them. This Thanksgiving and always, we are thankful for you.
Sincerely, Chuck Kime
Great place to have a birthday party for the kids had a good time watching my grand babies swim and play and unwrap presents
My daughter has flourished ever since she started attending FFY! This is a great place for your children to attend. They have many activities for the children to partake in.
Great place to take your children, and they learn to work together, learn how to treat other people that's in their community not just from their neighborhood, play sports, the people that work there are friendly and helpful ...I remember when I went there as a child ...
