The Columbus Challenge Sprint Triathlon is celebrating its 13th year because we have always counted on the support of hundreds of volunteers who share Foundation For Youth’s vision, to provide programming for fitness of mind, body and soul for our youth and our community.
It’s fun to be there, directing, cheering, handing out aid, assisting with timing or with finish line support, after all volunteers are participants too!
But, perhaps the most important reason is that you will be helping Foundation For Youth gather resources to support year-round programming for the following organizations:
Boys & Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Columbus Youth Camp, and FFY's Athletic Programs .
Besides sharing the excitement of being involved, each volunteer will receive a T-shirt, Lunch after the race and oodles of “thank-you-s” from FFY and the athletes!
E-mail Mary Lou, our fantastic Volunteer Coordinator, who will be only too happy to contact you back to discuss the different options for volunteering!
