BBBS facilitates one to one mentoring relationships between adults and children in schools, other sites or in the community at large. BBBS has a program that meets at a school site. These matches are able to play games, work on reading skills, talk to one another, or participate in learning a new skill. They meet weekly at a set time for one hour during the school year. In the community-based program, adults and children meet during weekends or evenings to learn and laugh together. Whether it is going to a museum, visiting a local restaurant or hanging out at home, matches have the chance to discover and explore new areas and a chance to connect. BBBS works with mentors, children, teachers, families and others to ensure that these relationships are stable, fun and rewarding.
