Transportation is available from BCSC schools.
Membership Criteria: The Boys & Girls Club serves children ages five thru 18. Children are eligible for membership on their fifth birthday.
Membership Fees: The annual membership fee is $25.00 per child. Memberships expire one year from purchase. Membership fees are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable. After all paperwork is processed at the registration desk, each child will receive a membership card from the Club staff.
Membership Cards: Members must bring their cards to the Boys & Girls Club every day in order to scan in and out, check out games, swim, use the computer lab, and other special activities. Membership cards can be replaced for $1.00 at the registration desk in the Foundation For Youth (FFY) lobby.
Weekly Activity Fee: There is a $25.00 charge per week, per child for participation in the Boys & Girls Club program during the school year and $75.00 fee per week during our summer program. Sliding Fee Scale and scholarships may apply with verification of taxable income. Ask the registration desk for details. Payment for weekly activities must be made prior to the activity week. If a child is not enrolled and paid they will not be able to participate and the parent will be notified immediately.
Daily Snack: Thanks to the Indiana Department Of Education we are able to offer a free snack daily to all members without regard to race, national origin, sex, age or disability at the Boys & Girls Club.
First Flights Classes: This program is designed for members 8 & older to meet for a series of weeks to explore the world of flight and aviation. Each session meets on Wednesday's during the school year from 4-5pm. This class is organized and graciously led by local Cummins Engineer and pilot Brett Herrick. Along with volunteers from Cummins Inc, Columbus Municipal Airport and other local organizations and volunteers. Please visit the following link to view class descriptions and get lessons plans that you can do at home!
Gardening: Through the amazing efforts of Linda Nay (volunteer from Columbus In Bloom), our in house Fun-ologist Nick Eddy and our Parks & Rec Department we are able to teach members, year round, the art of gardening. Each spring/summer/fall our members are working in our own garden designing, planting, caring for and harvesting. Please visit our link to view photos and video (coming soon) of our garden, members and volunteers that make it happen.
On The Spot Fun: This spontaneous occurrence is proof positive of the excitement that our Club offers to it's members.
